Secure Chorus’ Chairman shortlisted as finalist for “Women in IT Awards 2018” in the “Security Champion of the year” category
SECURE CHORUS, 5TH JANUARY 2018
The world’s largest tech diversity event, The Women in IT Awards, revealed the finalists for its fourth annual ceremony in London, which will convene over 1,100 business and technology leaders on 31 January to further the cause of improving diversity and inclusion in the IT industry.
We are pleased to share that Secure Chorus’ Chairman, Elisabetta Zaccaria, was selected as a finalist in the ‘Security Champion of the Year’ category for these awards. The announcement can be found at: http://www.information-age.com/123470208-123470208/.
We are very proud that our Chairman has been shortlisted for this award for her work with Secure Chorus. Over the course of 2017, Secure Chorus Ltd, under Elisabetta’s leadership, has grown into a global forum comprising a diverse international membership base, including governments, supranational organisations, major telecom operators, system integrators and technology companies of all sizes, academic institutions, regulators, standards organisations and trade associations.
In our current landscape of increasing private and public-sector digitalisation, where nearly all UK and global critical services are connected to the internet, multi-stakeholder collaboration on the adoption of open standards for the secure communications industry is of paramount importance to address and resolve the ever-increasing complexity of cyber threats.
We offer our congratulations to all the other finalists and look forward to celebrating the achievements and innovations of women in the UK technology industry on the 31st of January.
